sarah rawlins - artist

I am inspired by the beauty of colours and shapes found within the natural world. With each piece I produce, my aim is to combine vibrant colours and magical patterns, mixing realism with the abstract, to produce an intrinsically powerful visual impact for the viewer.

I studied Art at College and then University in Canterbury. I then had a 15 year break from painting to pursue my career and bring up my family. I reconnected with my passion for creativity during lockdown and now regularly sell paintings, produce commissions and exhibit my work. My designs translate beautifully onto fabric and I recently enjoyed great success by selling hand sewn scarves at my Surrey Artist Open Studio event. I also love Textiles and I volunteer locally at The Glad Rags Gang at West Horsley Place.
